Training

In the fast-moving laboratory environment it is always difficult to keep up to date with ever-changing analytical requirements. The demand for delivery, and the need to build your skill base often clash, leaving you with awkward choices. Just how can you extend your skill set to improve the organisation's capabilities to meet new customer needs?

With our diverse skill base covering many areas of environmental quality and food safety, we are uniquely placed to provide bespoke training for technical specialists.

Additional courses will be added throughout the year. Use the following link to download a pdf version of our Training Programme for 2008.

Our training programmes are of two types:

Set courses for individuals or groups

We run occasional courses for skill development in subjects relating to food analysis, plant health and birdstrike safeguarding at airports. Typically, these are of several days duration, and based at our laboratories. Information on courses planned will be available from this page.

Bespoke courses for groups

For organisations wishing to build capacity in topics relevant to our work we frequently arrange bespoke training to meet defined needs. Most of these courses are run for overseas organisations, most frequently in the food analysis and food safety areas. Other topics in our portfolio can be covered. Training is delivered by our specialists, and takes place in our well-equipped laboratories. The duration of training is generally one or two weeks.
