With new labeling legislation and critical segments within the consumer base, knowing the GM status of foods is vital for the food industry. Global sourcing of plant-based commodities and the ever-growing list of GM crops means that greater vigilance is required to confirm the acceptability of ingredients.
Delivered by experts actively engaged in analysis of GMOs, this 3 day course will provide you with a detailed insight into the processes and methods of GM testing. The course looks closely at the EU legislation in the GM area and covers a range of topics from laboratory management and test protocols through to the advantages/limitations of the DNA method. The course is thorough in nature and provides practical working solutions for attendees.
