Our commitment to quality
CSL views all aspects of quality as crucial to achieving our vision of being recognised as a centre-of-excellence and the contractor of choice in its areas of expertise. In June 2006, CSL achieved certification to ISO 9001:2000.
That is why we invest time and resources in achieving and retaining key quality scheme certifications which relate to the way we conduct our science, right through to the business systems we have in place to ensure customer needs are identified and satisfied.
Our scientific quality is assessed through independent audit (either by UKAS or GLP) and the accuracy of our analytical work is assessed through participation in proficiency tests. CSL has more than 90 procedures accredited to the BS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard by UKAS, giving our customers complete confidence in the results we report.
All research that is not undertaken under united Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) or Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is carried out in compliance with the Defra/FSA Joint Code of Practice for Research (JCOP).
